Man-O-War Bay cottages is the perfect getaway for those who want to have a genuine Caribbean experience! We are a small locally owned family business. Unlike big resorts, we do not have a restaurant, pool, or tennis courts. However, we offer a unique vacation experience you are sure to remember for years to come. Our amenities are ideal for independently minded individuals and families who wish to experience real life in a West Indian fishing village.
Our cottages are located just steps from the beach and come equipped with full kitchens. Whether you want to make breakfast and watch the sunrise, or enjoy creating your own romantic Caribbean candlelight dinner while watching the sunset, you can enjoy it directly from your porch! Only a short walk from the property is the main town of Charoletteville where you can sample local cuisine and experience a rich local culture. Also accessible by walking through town is Pirate's bay, a gorgeous hidden beach cove, where you can relax and take a nice picnic lunch while you enjoy the refreshing water. We offer an on site commissary that is stocked with some basics, and the village is an active fishing village where you can find a fresh catch to pair with a Ting soft drink or Carib lager. The village also offers delicious restaurant options for your enjoyment.
We can arrange transportation to and from the Crown Point International Airport for you and your family with our experienced taxi drivers. We can also help you arrange various activities during your stay such as kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, and guided rain forest tours. A local cook can be hired to introduce you to creating local dishes on your own.
As our company is very concerned with the environmental impact of our daily operations, housekeeping and bed linen changes are available every three days, however additional housekeeping necessities can be arranged for an additional fee, per request.
